An essential part of our representation is to respond quickly and accurately to our clients’ questions and concerns. Successful representation requires keeping the client fully involved: unless specifically advised otherwise, we copy the client on all legal memoranda, correspondence and pleadings prepared by the firm or submitted to the court by the prosecution.

We believe in a team approach to criminal defence. After meeting with a client we assemble a defence team of lawyers, paralegals and other experts where required, to explore the various aspects of the case and determine the best way to proceed with trial preparation.

Because of the sensitive nature of many of the cases we have handled, we take great pride in resolving criminal matters quietly and confidentially. No decisions are made without considering all aspects of the case, including the collateral consequences of a criminal disposition and the possibility of adverse publicity to the client or their business.
