Mr. Imran is the Head of the Corporate and Litigation Division of the firm, primarily conducting matters in connection with the banking, energy, constitutional and regulatory sectors.
He has vast experience working with public sector organizations concerned with the power sector, and renders expert advice to project companies and project financiers with respect to power and other infrastructure projects. His expertise in the energy sector also includes the structuring of project finance transactions, including due diligence of commercial and legal risk allocation through the review of project and security documents.
His clientele includes leading business houses of Pakistan, local and foreign sponsors and lenders, commissioned independent power producers (IPPs), captive power producers (CPPs), small power producers (SPPs), new captive power producers (NCPPs), off-grid projects and bulk power consumers.
Imran provides expert representation to his clients before trial courts, appellate courts, arbitral tribunals and regulatory bodies such as NEPRA, OGRA, SECP and the HEC.
